Changing my fan clutch to electric cooling fan.

I'm going to change out my fan clutch to an electric cooling fan. I pulled the fan out of a ford escort station wagon. I measured the fan so it should fit with no problems. I am thinking about hooking the fan up to the coolant temperature sensor. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get hooked up without too much hassle?

Get an adapter for the hose...cut and clamp in, screw in the sensor and done. Thats actually the easy part of such a conversion. Worth it though.

You can't use either of the current engine temp sensors, there are two of them

You can get temp switches, these are on/off switches, use to turn on and off a relay that sends power to the fan motor
Temp switches come in different "degree on-degree off" models

Upper heater hose(intake manifold) can be used for the temp switch, you install a metal bung in the hose and ground the bung
Upper or lower radiator hose can also be used with bung fitting
