I need to tread lightly....my 2007 5R55E started to delay the shift points up a few hundred rpms in the first few shifts. I did install some 33 inch tires (from 32s) about 100 miles ago. (Diff: 4.10/1). Then after apx 10 miles later the shift points are acting normal. Sounded like a school bus with an Allison 5 speed. Down shifted like it knew what I was needing for a nice change. Today I may take it out again & see what's going on. Not a terrible thing having the shift points a tad bit higher. Especially the down shift points. That ECU is up to who knows what.
Is this shift point / rpm programmable? I've heard that it was & was not. The fluid level was a quart low 100 miles ago, now topped off. The battery has always been up to 12.6Vdc. Could of been the lightning storm had something to do with it. There were a couple of very close strikes.
