changed out seat

I had to change out seats after i loaned my truck (2002 ranger Edge), for 2 years to a family member. seats were filthy and worn out. I found another seat to replace and thought I figured out everything. When I installed the newer seat I then realized that the airbag plugs were different. The truck has a 4 wire plug, the reolacement seats have a 2 wire plug. Any body now how to adapt these plugs ? suggestions?

I just clipped everything and made my own molex connectors. What year are your seats from? I know my airbag harness wire colors matched up between '01 an the '09 seats that I put in, there were just extra wires in the '09 from components that were not offered in '01.
