Changed out cruise pods...Problem now

My on/off pod had a hole in it so I got new to me pods that worked. I also got the ribbon. I was just going to swap the pods and leave my ribbon but I pulled one of the wires out during install so I changed out the ribbon, what a PITA that was.

My old ribbon had a ground on BOTH sides, the new one has just one on the drivers side. I hooked everything up and now my left side lights up with my lights but the passenger side does not. Is this because of the missing ground on the other switch? If so which wire do I need to tie into to ground it. I have the ground piece off my old ribbon. Just wanna make sure before I take it all back apart again.

Does the cruise work and just not light up? The bulb tends to burn out from time to time

Cruise has not worked since I got the truck but both my pods did light up and, both new pods did light up on the other truck but not on mine, just the drivers side. The ground that broke off came off the passenger side and the new ribbon did not have a ground on the passenger side.

Thats a tough one, you may have to get the proper ribbon with both grounds. If you have to redo it again, take the pods apart first so the clip is easier to remove so the ribbon doesnt break

I may take it all back apart tomorrow and try my pod. Maybe the other one got damaged in transit. I seen a picture on ranger-forums of the same year model and it only had 1 ground wire, the 2 is bugging me now.

Where did you get the pods from??? I've never been able to find them on the web or at autozone.
