Hey I can't figure out how to take off the stock center console on my 03 ranger. Anyone know how to take the stock one off and put a new one on?

If it is the center console with the bucket seats (the non-60/40 seats), I removed mine (along with the seats and carpet) this past weekend to clean on my 99.

Carefully pry off the cupholder/coinholder. There are 2 screws under there to remove. Next you have to remove the armrest. To do so, there are 2 small oval panels to remove on each of the sides of the console toward the top by the armrest. Behind are 2 bolts on each side. Remove them and the armrest lifts off. Under, there is one more mounting screw. Remove that and the console should just lift off the "mounting post". As they say, installation is the reversal of removal.

Ya unfortunetely I have the 60/40 seats so thanks but anyone that have 60/40 seats know how to take off that center console?

the center console should have a screw that goes into the drivers side seat, if you open up the console you should see a circle cap that covers the hole for that screw take that cap off and unscrew it

K but my console is one of those mini consoles that is under the dash. So would it be the same as a regular one?

Are you talking the armrest console between the seats or the black cup holder on the floor?

If its the cup holder, and your truck is standard, there are 4 screws, 2 on top, 2 on bottom. They are partially under the shift boot.

If it is an automatic, there is a plastic lock nut in each cupholder (under a rubber mat). Turn each and the cupholder will unlock and lift off. Then there are 4 screws to remove the mounting plate.
