So I'm back with what is shaping up to be like my 2nd post for the decade or something like that lol. My the top/armrest portion of my center console in the truck was broken all to pieces. to the point stuff was sticking out of it and I kept cutting myself. I removed the console, brought it into the shop and tried a couple dozen things to make a new top or repair the old one but had no luck(the one thing it DID do was still latch of all things). After about a month of staring at this thing I came up with an idea. I used a couple self-tappers to hold the hinge shut and installed it upside down. I only ever use the thing as an arm rest anyway and this has become our trash hauler. It still raises and I have the cubby underneath open so I guess I could put a little net or something on it, but it's finally a great armrest again!

I put this in the wrong section. Can it be moved? :)

I moved it for you...

I need to do something with mine. I was actually thinking of modifying the seat and just buying a new console.

But yeah... about all I ever do with the armrest is lean on it.
