cel code 522

i have a 94 5 spd manual and on the way home the CEL came on and went off intermittently. i pulled the code and its 522. what could be causing this? i know almost nothing about odb1 let alone the transmission codes on them

There is a switch on the clutch pedal (clutch pedal position). Retest with the pedal depressed code should be gone. Intermittent CEL could be caused by a sensor failure but within high/low specs. Is it running Bad? Any other symptoms? You may have to drive it awhile then try to capture code.

thanks a lot i'll look into the sensor, it has a little stutter every once in a while while driving, thats the only issue

so i checked the the code again with the clutch down and the code was gone. what does this mean? the engine runs great still but every once in a while it has a small shutter. it almost feels like it tries to stall but it only jerks like one time then runs great again. any ideas?

bump this topic, still have the same issue along with codes 122,157,158,528, and 543. anyone know what these are caused by?
