Cat removal

I have an 88 ranger and that catalytic converters have holes in them and I don't want to replace them because the truck has Over 180 thousand miles on it and I'm just going to use it to haul wood is there any adaptor pieces they make to adapt to the down pipe
 
Not that I know of. Nobody makes one because it's illegal to remove cats if you plan to drive it on the road.

Best way I know to do what you are trying (seal the leak) is to weld some pipes to the cat's flanges.
 
I was gonna do that but there is like nothing there at all
