My carrier bearing blew out and needed replaced on my 93 ranger 2.3.
I removed the forward drive shaft and carrier bearing housing. I ordered one from an auto parts store and checked numerous times for the correct fit (30mm) The bearing in question was too large for the shaft. All known carrier bearings are the same size. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The bearing didn't spin on the carrier, did it?No scoring?Did you get a bearing by the truck model or did you get it by the bearing number? We always try to get our by the bearing number, same bearing number?
