Carolina 1823 EH?

Anyone had these?



I'm thinking about getting them because I've been wanting new boots for a long time, and getting a good pair of Carolinas would definitely be a plus. Not to mention I'm in the electrical field, so the electrical hazard rating is a good thing.

Just wondering how they compare to other Carolinas. I've heard that some EH boots end up squeaking when you walk. Something to do with the rubber compound they use.

I have been wearing THESE for 6 or 7 years. In fact, I'm thinking about getting them overhauled as I like them so much. My brother bought them when he worked at Cummins, in case he ever had to venture onto the floor. He never even took them into work. I saw them in the box in his foyer and tried them on and he never saw them again. That's how comfortable they are. I hate to change things when I have them just so--and soon my wife will start hiding them if they get to looking much worse.
