I have a 2.0 4Cyl 2 barrel carb. motor. This truck I bought for 200 bucks, it sat for a long time and before that the guy didn't take care of it, it was just a beater work truck for him. I am having trouble with keeping it running, ive gotten it to run for a few minutes before and drove it aroudn the neighborhood and then it died about 10 minutes later. So I cleaned out the carb(it was nasty),cleaned wires, cap and rotor, and clean spark plugs up. There is oil on the plugs due to this guy put WAY too much oil in the truck and it was spilling out of the breather oil cap thing and im pretty sure it pushed past the rings. Now after I cleaned everything up and put a different coil in it im getting spark and fuel but I dont think it is atomizing the fuel because it starts on first crank and dies 10 seconds later and wont start again, and smells like its flooding. I am lost as to what it could be and im losing patience with this, I am about to just go buy my turbocoupe motor from the junkyard. Now I am not really savy with carbs FYI.:dunno:

if any insight could be given I would appreciate it, thank you!:icon_cheers:
