Since my post in the B-series forum has gone unanswered and I haven't given up the search for the parts I need maybe I am just not looking for the information in the right manner. I have 94 B-4000 and am pulling the cab in order to clean and paint the frame. I know that my cab mount bushings aren't completely gone but they could use replacing. I just went over to the RockAuto site and tried their catalog but cant seem to find under what category they would have the bushings. It definitely isn't suspension or body exterior. In fact they don't seem to have them at all. The ones on eBay for the same era Ranger say they are not compatible to the Mazda which I find quite strange. Does anyone know the solution?

I am also considering adding a 2 or 3 inch body lift while I have it all apart. Which kit would you consider the most complete? Or are there any good homegrown solutions? I could easily fabricate steel lift spacers but the steering column extension and shifter extension is what is stopping me. I suppose could always cut the shifter and weld in a piece and just maybe someone on here would have the piece for the steering column that they would be willing to part with.

You havent given up the search or you havent given up on asking everybody else for the information?

Your truck's the same as a ranger, so here's a suggestion. Get on google or broncograveyard.com or jamesduff.com and search for ford ranger body mount bushings.

Thanks Brinker. It wasn't that I had not given up the search it was the conflicting information I received from several catalogs that state the cab mount bushings for the Ranger are not compatible to the Mazda. Now as I live in Panama and not the USA when I order something I need to make very certain that I get it right the first time as the shipping charges are often more than the price of the parts. So if you end up with something that isn't the right one it costs way to much to return it.

Then comes the issue of the category.... In the parts world what category do cab mount bushings fall under? It isn't body exterior or suspension.

Then on my wanting to do a body lift. I do enjoy making things myself. I have a fairly well equipped workshop and can fabricate my own brackets and whatnot. And as I mentioned the price of shipping is exorbitant making my own body lift as opposed to buying one for a couple hundred dollars and adding a couple hundred more to ship it and just maybe you can start to get the picture of the situation I am in.

I'd look into polyurethane hockey pucks then if you really want to tackle making your own body lift. As for the shifter extension, they sell them seperately on summitracing.com or weld an extension onto your exhisting shifter.

If your truck is the one that is based on the US Ranger the bodymounts are the same. Aside from some minor exterior touches and the front clip they are the same truck.

If it is the Mazda the overseas Ranger is based off of... I don't know.
