Can't manually crank over the engine

What I never under stand is why no one ever pulls them both at the same time when they are pulling the engine any way ? You need to check the converter or clutch and slave. You need to unbolt the trans mount and lines and way and remove the drive shaft.

I admit that I tried to be lazy and drop my new engine onto the trans. I also admit that if I'd had a lift, I wouldn't have done that.

I also recognize that doing it that way (along with a few parts hold ups) is a large factor in why it took me a month to get the truck running again.
