Cant keep truck running...plz help!

Very long story, condensed as much as possible.
-Truck ran fine.
-Diesel fuel ran through truck (mabey 1/2 gallon,truck had stalled cause no fuel)
-Truck wouldnt start with new plugs.
-Truck sat for about a year
-Drop tank clean out completly,new fuel filter,new injectors,fuel lines.
-Truck will now start with starting fluid but not on its own.
-New fuel fump unit.
-***Truck will now idle IF someone holds their hand almost completly over my intake tube***???
It is really strange almost like im having to manually choke the motor?

Any input about my problem would be much appreciated.

I would start by cleaning your Idle Air Control Valve (IAC) and Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) and throttle body. Those all provide input to the computer to control idle. Also, if you have the air tube disconnected it will act like you have a large vacuum leak. Any thing open after the MAF will really screw things up.

You can find instructions and what cleaner to use in the tech section. You also could have a vacuum leak (a pretty big one if it won't run).
