toasted bearings won't reflect in your compression. The Compression should be relatively uniform across the board. (all 120's for example) what you are checking for is which cylinder(s) is the problem. Vacuum readings will also help determine valve/seal conditions. A leakdown test would be even more helpful, but still won't tell you if you fried your bearings. Stop driving if you want any chance at all of saving that motor.
as an example.....my 2.9 has a compression of 160 on all 6 cylinders. vacuum readings are about 21 in hg steady with no flutter increasing briefly to 26 when throttle is released. ( do some research in the tech pages, those are some good numbers).
