There is a black box located next to the washer fluid reservoir and mounted low near radiator. Is this a fuel vapor canister? Well.. there are two lines that come off of this... one of them goes near the top front of my motor (2.9L) and isn't connected to anything at the moment. can anyone tell me where it is supposed to be connected? Somewhere near the intake I suppose?

The attached pictures should help everyone understand what I am asking a bit better.

Thanks. My Haynes repair manual is in the mail

Should go to a vaccum port on the underside of the throttle body.

yup, thats where it goes. the box is part of a fuel vapor recovery system...

Thanks guys!

Does the area near the tip of my finger look like the right place for it? two pieces connect via a small hose, right? see attached photo
