Canada vs USA (hockey)

Congrats to Canada on the Gold..We need him back in Pittsburgh though for another win of the cup.

A few observations, one even though hockey isn't really on my radar as far as sports go, its great how the teams shake hands after a series is over. NHL players tend to treat fans great. Much more down to earth than guys in MLB, or NFL or the goons in the NBA. Also Americans and Canadians are so much alike. I have many Canadian friends who live near me. From BC, Alberta, Ontario. You don't have a clue they aren't American unless they tell you. I am sure it would be the same for an American living in Canada too. Canadians and Americans are like brothers and sisters.

I am sure it would be the same for an American living in Canada too. Canadians and Americans are like brothers and sisters.

I agree wholeheartedly, They were some pictures of Canadian soldiers in Kandahar holding up signs that said "Canada and USA, brother in arms but not on the ice". We are basically the same and I like it that way

How the hell am i supposed to watch the playoffs now? I mean. after games like that the playoffs seem rather tame.

Oh and the stick handling by our Canadian boys was insanely good. Its not really the USA's fault their passes were stolen alot. The Canadians Stole Everyones passes throughout the entire Olympics. Reaction time +++++++

Trying to pass the puck between two Canadians is just not a good idea in that series.

True true. We did take the gold medal count though. It sure was a great Olympic Games. I found that people are just plain nicer after an experience like that. There were countless incidents of people helping complete strangers find their way around Vancouver.
