That's an interesting response, but then what is "No Child Left Behind"?i bet schooling and education. the gov't doesnt have to do anything about it.

I see, so this is the "The Federal Government doesn't dictate State Law" argument? Kind of like 55mph speed limits, .08 DUI limits, 21 drinking age, dot dot dot?it is a program addopted by individual states that was proposed by the fed. and was optional for each state to particiapate. but by participating the state recieved more funding
That was a rhetorical response as to how the Federal Government circumvents the limitations that the US Constitutions applies to them.i dont see how no child left behind violates the 1st ammendment?
I disagree and agree with this statement. I agree that the Federal Government has over stepped it's boundaries with the recent "Healthcare Reform" Laws. However, taxation without representation was the driving force with which we separated from England. Supposedly, we have representation in Washington DC, but from what I've seen lately, either there is huge voter fraud, or the American people are idiots for electing these Representatives.now one can argue ( and 23 states are) that the current administration has restricted our 1st ammendment right with the health care bill is a violation of the 1st ammendment because it is both taxing the people without the peoples approval, (which is why we seperated from england in the first place) and also that is also restricting our liberity in that it fources the purchasing of health care when it is a option.
Agreed.the act of not listening to the public who overwelmingly said no makes it taxation without proper representation of the public.
the powers reserved to the federal government include all but schools and education. that power falls to the state.
printing money is the feds power hence the "federal reserve note" on a dollar bill
the government can declair war. with 2/3 vote of congress i believe might be 3/4
we have a uniform army that is why the president is the commander in chief of the armed forces. the states are allowed to maintain a militia in case of emergency or specific threat.
the government dose not control public school or education aside from providing funding from tax dollars. that is why each state has different requirements for graduation of high school and college.
