I was getting gas a bit ago.

Pulled in, put my card in the pump, and pumped 15 gallons.

When i started the price was 3.69.

When i was done it was 3.49.

Im not going to raise hell about it...but i always thought stations couldnt change prices while someone was fueling?

once a long time ago all the pumps were locked out while they adjusted/raised prices.
I'm thinking that was in Kentucky or Tennessee while on a vacation.

Its a citgo.

If i punch my number in i get 5cents off for a loyalty bonus through the station itself...but no card.

My understanding is that they can't change the price once the transaction starts.
