I just got the summit bl kit, along with the manual shift extension and the gap guards. Is there anyone around that can help me put the bl on? My buddy said I can use his garage, hes got all sorts of tools, even and air compressor and some impact tools! If there's anyone around that could help me that would be awesome! Or if anyone near CT like in MA or something has a garage with tools and wouldn't mind helping I could drive somewhere too. My zip code is 06422 if you want to see if your not too far to help me. I have no idea what I am doing, so help would be great! I want to do it this saturday, start first thing early morning. FREE BEER! Thank you!
Here's how it sits now.

I'm in Guilford and would like to help you out, but I have NO experience with putting body lifts on, and no garage to work out of, and I have no free time whatsoever. I should have free time when I'm done with school in about a month, so let me know if you need a hand with anything else in the future.

BUMP..... Camon, no one else in CT? How about the following weekend?

No one can help me? I am doing it this saturday, I am going to start around 7am, I have a garage and impact tools!! I could REALLY use some help. I have read over the directions and it looks very difficult

It really isnt that bad. Your truck is newer and bolts shouldnt be that bad to remove. It does help having another person to hold a wrench while you hit it with the impact. Also check your grounds and battery cable for enough slack once it is raised. My battery cable was too short on my 1989 BII and it pulled the solenoid off the fender. While you are waiting for help start soaking bolts with PB blaster. Good luck

I have a couple guys that would definitely be able to put that all together down in Stamford. They have a very well equiped garage with lift. I dont know if you were looking to shell out any money but if you are they would be on board to put your rig together. Let me know.

Come to Az Ill do it 4 ya. I got the tools the shop and the ability if you got the:icon_cheers:

I would definately help you but I have to work this weekend. If you want to set up another date let me know. I took me 4 hrs to do my body lift by myself, 3/4 of the time spent getting the old rusted bolts loose! Your 03 shouldn't be that bad, I'd suggest hitting all the bolts with PB once a day. By the time it comes to do the lift it should be gravy.

I just remembered another thing, you'll need the right torx socket to remove the bed bolts. I think it's a t-55? I had the cab loose then realized I didn't have the right torx socket to do the bed.

I am in the upper corner in MA and would like to help but too far...
What body lift do you have ?
Are there instructions on line ?

Maybe a verbal assist will help ?
