Can I use irdium tipped spark plugs

Can I use iridum tipped spark plugs in my 2002 ford ranger xlt 3.0 ?

Sure can, but unless it specifically calls for iridium in the owners manual then it's a waste. Good platinum plug works wonders

Save your money and avoid fancy plugs in the 3.0. Many people have better luck with stock replacement copper plugs like Autolite 103s than anything else.

And either use copper or DOUBLE platinum
Ford uses a waste spark system so spark plug tips on one bank and electrodes on other bank wear faster, so Single platinum would be a waste of money, one bank will wear out just as fast as regular copper.
