I need info on straight wiring the ignition coil if its possible I have fuel pumps on toggle I had a wiring harness meltdown now im trying to toggle as much as possible

Toggle it off the same lead as the fuel pump.

Is it just the chassis harness or is the computer harness also fried? you would also need to have the computer working otherwise it will just run on base timing and not have any upper end power. Possibly switching hot to the ignition coil will power up the computer also.

Can I just hook 12v to both sides of coil.do i need a resistor or not .computer harness is ok coil harness burnd up complete

No the coil needs to be triggered

Triggerd by what there are 2 prongs on the coil 1 side has 2 red wires the other has a green wire how can I trigger the coil to fire

It needs to be triggered by the ignition module located on the side of the distributor.

How can I replicate the signal what wires on the ignition module connect to coil

You cannot replicate the signal needed because it isn't constant, it varies based on engine speed, and it is happening much much faster than you can react. The coil fires 3 times for every one revolution of the engine. At idle the coil is firing almost 3000 times a minute.

You can wire the red wire to a toggle switch for power, but the green wire needs to be hooked up to the TFI module on the side of the distributor or it WILL NOT work.

You will have to get your hands on an injector harness that has all the wiring to the TFI if that harness burnt completely.

The two links I gave you above shows the basic wiring the colors may be different. The reason the fuel pump wasnt working is because the computer is not getting power. I would suggest wiring the fuel pump as it was then switch the red wire going out of the EEC relay and ignition coil hot to your switch and see if the fuel pump cycles for a few seconds. That tells you the computer has power and should fire the injectors. Was the green wire fried going to the coil or just the hot?

Oh yea be sure and fuse anything you wire directly to the battery or you can have another wire fire possibly worse!

Both green and red fried tfi module is ok can I splice onto tfi connectr and run 2 green side what do the reds go to

Can I splice in at tfi module and hook to green side of coil what is the red side go to can I just hook 12v to that side

It will not run without the computer to fire the injectors. find the EEC relay and tap into the red wire then yes make sure hot is going to the TFI module and the coil. The green wire from the TFI goes to the neg side of the coil. Then you may get fire and fuel. I believe your EEC power relay is on the passenger side up by the heater blower motor. Not sure others here will know where the relay is for the computer.
