can i keep the fold down seats on my 1994?

ok so iv got a 1994 4x4 extra cab and i use it as a loging road basher
useualy with as many people as we can fit and with the tunes crancked and i want to add a base but i wana keep my back seats
has anyone mounded the subs under them? help me out guys

start researching all of the topics pertaining to your situation. keep around here and keep learning.... the single most important lesson would be to use the search function, there are plenty of extended cab installs in here. in fact, there's even at least one on the first page...............

few threads down is that premolded enclosure that fits under the seats, pretty sure they cost $ though

check this thread, http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188 i think i remember seeing some one build some boxes that mounted to the floor and pointed upwards, and then when the rear seats were folded down they became covered and less likely to get damaged by passengers.

i saw a guy who converted his jack/took/cup holder box in his back seat to a sub box...not sure if 1994 has the same set up but its a hell of an idea

yea a '94 won't have that setup.

but if you got a shallow enough sub you could make a box that fits between the seats and fits on top of that small hump along the back. or if you're really good make some boxes to fit in the wall where the jump seats go and put some 8" subs in. just start measuring and see where one might fit. mocking up a box with cardboard first is a good idea
