Can I get your opinion on these rims?

Hey guys, my tires are soon going to need replacement and I am planning on swapping out my 15 inch steelies for a nice new set of 18 inch alloys while I'm at it.

My favorite choice so far is the American Racing Nova...

The specifications are as follows:

Wheel Size: 18x9
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: 24
Finish: Machined

First off, how do you guys like this rim choice?

Secondly, how much work will it take to get these to fit? Will I need spacers or do you think I will get lucky and have no modifications required?

Any and all info is more than welcomed! As always I appreciate everyone's opinions! :icon_thumby:

not going to lie those wheels look good, i like them! but for me i would go with some cobra r wheels!! i love those on rangers!! but thats just my 2 cents!

Thanks for the positive feedback do you guys have any ideas on the fitment of these rims or even Cobra rims for that matter?

I think these are similar in specs to a cobra rim, I know these fit Mustangs. What spacers or adjustment do Cobra rims normally require?

they look like you might need spacers in the front to get them to clear the hubs

I think I may have to find a local American Racing dealership and check them out in person if anyone has the ones I want in stock.

Does anyone know what the stock offset is for the 15x7 steelies on the Ranger/B Series trucks from 2006.

And don't tell me to go to the Tech Library, I've been there, read it five times through, doesn't mention stock offset on any of the rims.

I'd like to know the backspacing and offset to compare it to those Nova's. If no one knows I may have to do it the old fashioned way and pull one off the truck when I find time lol. So if anyone does happen to know, I'd appreciate it, it'll save me some time and hassle lmao.

Here are the rims I have, I'm sure many of you have seen them before...

Those look like car wheels, not truck wheels. Most people who put car wheels on trucks need spacers.

Ya, or your bearings from what I hear.

they look like the mach 1 mustang rims to me, witch is a good thing

Yeah, I realize they are probably made for a car, destined for a Camaro or Mustang, but I am going for a street look with my truck.

There are plenty of people on here who have gone that route and I'm trying to get those people to respond lol. Help with Street style rims guys!

Yeah I thought they kinda looked like Mach1 rims too, I really like em, I hope I can make em work.

do the nova with a narow front tire and a fat wide tire in the back!!!! looks really cleeean
