i have a 97 ford ranger extended cab. I have 5 transmission codes.I HAVE A MANUAL TRANS!!!
could the truck have the computer swapped to a auto computer instead of manual..

P0708-trans range sensor circuit high imput
p0743-Torque converter clutch circuit electrical
p0750-Shift solenoid a malfunction
p0755-shift solenoid B malfunction
p0760-shift solenoid C malfunction

why would these codes be showing? How can i fix them? another thing is i need a new fuse panel in the truck. The fuses work but some of them if there not in there just right dont. Do any of these codes correspond with the fuses in the fuse box ?

Very possible. Fix the fuse box first.

ttt anyone i just relized that i have a manual trans and i shouldnt have any of them codes showing correct?

I get some of those codes when I run the auto computer in the manual tranny car, but being a 1 st gen, they are all 2 place codes.

your computer seems pissed off, but I'd make sure all the fuses are live first.

Oops !:D In that case, did you recently change the PCM or swap to a manual trans ? Is the CEL on ? Those codes won't hurt anything if you're running a manual trans . Leave it alone if you wish.

well i think ther person before me changed the computer im guesing...
