On my 1990 Ranger both rear turn signals will flash, when the right side turn signal is turned on, and the vehicle is running..

What's really weird ~ is when the ignition switch is turned off, when you turn the right side blinker switch on and hold the brake pedal on..

The right side turn signal's dash indicator light will stay on, and you can hear the turn signal flasher clicking, while the brake lights are on, along with the right front turn signal light being on..

If you turn on the heater blower on, also, at the same time, as the above symptoms are taking place..

Now, the difference is, the right side turn signal's dash indicator light will start flashing on and off, each time you can hear the turn signal flasher clicking, and the rear brake lights will start flashing, along with the right front turn signal will be flashing..

You can, also, hear the heater motor start and stop, in sequence, with the turn signal flasher clicking on and off..

I've cleaned all of the grounds that I could find..

I've replaced all of the brake and turn signal bulbs..

I've replaced the turn signal indicator switch..

I've replaced the turn signal flasher..

I've replaced the emergency signal flasher

I've taken the pig tail connection apart, near near the end of the box, underneath the bed, and the wires going back to the brake and turn signals are fine..

As a start..Short from brake lights, feedback to turn signals. Thats the steady lit turn signal. Should not have the turn signal with ignition switch off.
What happens when all thats going on and you let off the brake pedal?
I'd be looking for exposed wiring, pinched wiring, any cobbled up wiring, added on wiring.....

If I let off the brake pedal, when all of these things are going on, as was explained, while the ignition switch is in the off position..

All of the symptoms, as mentioned, will stop..

Where do the two wires from the brake light switch, on the brake pedal, go..

The function of the brake light switch, either works or not, doesn't it, without being able to cause any kind of weird symptoms, I'm assuming..

Daniel, you have been reported for spam, please take your asinine and unrelated comments elsewhere.

Greasy, your stuff is really hard to understand. I got maybe half of it, but I'm gonna take a whack at this.

The fact that your blower is involved says that the problem has to be in the cab. Get the blower going and then pull it's fuse. That will give you an idea of where the rubbed wired are.

To piggyback onto what ADSM08 said, looking for what active system is feeding a passive system, pulling fuses while all that you describe is going on in a systematic manner should narrow it down.
My money is on the brake light circuit. Its normally "hot" with key off while the other systems involved are normally only "hot" with key on. Seems like there should be a fuse blowing with all that happening. Is your fuse panel in good condition, no jumpers or tinfoil? Trailer wiring?
Be interesting to hear what you find out

The fuse panel seems to be in good condition, without any visible problems that I can see..

I've taken each individual fuse out and cleaned the fuse's contacts..

None of the fuses were blown..

I haven't tried pulling out each individual fuse, yet, to try and narrow it down, as was suggested..

Can a faulty brake light circuit switch cause any kind of weird problems..
