Can a V6 actually sound GOOD.

Oh and the forced induction sound is from the intake, like I said.. its as loud if not louder than the exhaust.

i love my straight pipe side exit 2.9 with cats. simple and sounds pretty mean. i dont want my damn ranger to sound like a v8 unless i put the work into swapping one in.

sure can. i enjoy the low rumble of a 4 liter everyday. 2.5" after the cat to a thrush welded and dumped before the rear tire.

exactly, my brother got true duals with two 3" boom tubes stickin out the arse on his 87 stang, but its a modded 5.0 lol not a ranger with a v6

Have any of you ever heard a Nissan GTR? That's a... "gasp" V6!!!

V8 is not by any stretch of the imagination the only good engine sound. Almost any motor that is a healthy high performance motor sounds good. Bullet bikes, Cummins Diesels, Audi W8, WRX flat 4, VW VR6 and R32, Honda S2000.... Need I go on?

My 2.3T might sound like a tractor at idle, but you get up to WOT and it's got a very nice exhaust note. Different than a V8, yes. Good sound, yes again.

nope. No diesel swap. still the normal v6. and they aren't boom tubes. It's a custom tip. He made it in his metal shop class and put it on himself (He went to a metal tech/welding school so he knew what he was doing). it probably only about 8 or 9 inches long. But i can tell you it sounds and looks sweet
