can 235/75/15's work on a 15X8" wheel?

title says it all. found some decent looking rims used, but i cant afford new tires right now, so the only way itll work is if i can keep my old tires.

Yes. They'll be stretched a little but they'll fit. Back in the day, Firebird Trans-Ams and Corvettes came from the factory with smaller 225/70-15's on 15x8 rims.

I have that setup on my BII and yest it works just fine. The tires are a little stretched but looks fine.

235/75/15's will fit on a 9inch wheel......i know....8 will be fine
