can i buy a camber bushing that would align now and still have enough adjustment to accommodate a 2'' lift coil later?

currently my passenger side bushing has most of the adjustment tabs broken off and im not ready to install the lift coils yet. i was thinking i could just buy a max degree +/- bushing now and be ready for when i get the coils later.

after reading alot of other posts on the same issue i am left wondering why they even sell any other sizes.

b.t.w. what could cause the tabs to break off?

thanks in advance b-f

Buy adjustable bushings, they're pricey, but will adjust from 0 to 3.5+ degrees. Finding a shop to align it might be fun, some people hate the adjustable bushings cause the paperwork to dial them in is a bit confusing.
The bushings are cast, almost like bronze or something, I broke the ones on my old ranger, they're brittle for some reason.

so i pulled out the passenger side bushing looking for some sort of sizing index , nothing! so i did the same on drivers side and came up with this....

it says 8441:icon_confused:

also who stocks the 3.5degree bushing?

It looks like a standard 1 to 2 degree bushing., they should actually have numbers on the other end, I know my stock bushings have the size stamped on them.
Don't buy a bushing until you know what you need. Just cause it's got adjustment up to 3.5 degrees doesn't mean the caster and camber will be where they need to be come alignment time.

just trying to save a few bucks. the alignment shop will hit me hard if have to have them buy and install the bushings. think ill take a chance on the fully adjustable set. i fits too far positive i guess i could always add a washer......

thanks for the help guys b-f

Yes, the two-piece fully-adjustable bushings are the only ones you should buy if you don't know ahead of time what your exact frontend specs currently are.

well i did the washer lift (for now) and still have another two turn left on th bushings. looks like ill b ok at the alignment shop

i wanted to wait and buy the coils but after reading a lot of threads on the issue i thought why not. sure i dont get that little extra flex from the springs, but this isnt a rock buggy either.

everything said and done im just going to replace the bad bushing.
