if the cam syncro is broke it wont run and the oil pump will not work
the cam syncro replaces the distributor to rotate the pickup for the Cam position sensor to detect #1 cylinder reference for the computer as the engine rotates
it is located at the top right rear of the motor (as viewed from driver seat)
