I am looking for some people that have swapped a T-5 trans behind a 4.0. My question how did you modify the hydrolic line to adapt to the factory clutch master cylinder?

i had a toyo tranny behind my 2.9. and swapped for a M50D. and i just used a compression fitting and some flex line. been working for me!

By compression fitting you mean like the fittings on say the fuel lines? Just use a press in fitting to the factory plastic line (boil line 1st) and adapt a flex line fitting to that then follow to the slave cylinder fitting?

Thanks!

yep. thats what i got. but i haven't really gotten to wheel with it yet. so its worth a try, but try it around town first.

and make sure it stays away from exhaust manifolds and such. thats why i had to make a second one.. lol

I had the line snap on one of my old ranger's and took the line to a family freinds hose shop and had them re-make my line.I dont rember exactly what line they used, but it was stainles braid (alot like brake line)and the ends on it.They did ask me to bring the ends in..dont rember if they re-used the end's or not.

If you end up striking out,and want, you can send me the ends and I can see what I can have done.

Thanks for your help guys! I actually found a conversion fitting that fits right into the clutch master cylinder. :D
