I have a 97 extended cab and I have aquired a leak right above the back glass. I took the third brake light off and sealed it real good and still its leaking. Took it back off and it was dry. I have noticed the back glass sounds like its flexing with the truck in offroad situations. the back glass looks to not be it but i could be wrong. Didn't know where to post this ques. any help would be great.

I had the same problem. you could see the wet marks on the headliner and it went the entire length of the back window. got the window replaced and hasnt leaked since.

yeah rear glass.... i had 5 rangers do that to me...

that is the exact problem you described, that for the info guys, greatly appreciated

Mine seems to have a good seal but if you guys have had this problem I guess that is what it is you think a bead of caulk would fix it or should I have a new seal installed?

my 87 leaked, I stopped by a windows show and got come windows glue thy recommended, but thy said I'll never get the window out in one peice again.
has not leaked in 2 years

all i did was get some $2 caulk from walmart and went along the top edge of my back window and the 3rd brake light. hasnt leaked since
