hey all my vehicle is a 84 bronco 2 and it was a 2.8l 4 spd standard but its now a 2.8l c5 auto. my issue is i had the trany rebuild a few years ago and the project kinda fizzled out and the only thing left is just to hook up the linkage that goes from the carb to the trany. that kickdown rod hooks from the carb to the little arm on the trany and before it lined up perfectly and now when you are facing the arm its sitting at the maybe 7 oclock position. i have noticed that the linkage arm itself has a rectangular hole to fit specifically in one way only but i am wondering if this is adjustable to rotate it so the arm is in the 10 maybe 11 oclock position for the kick down rod to line up with it. any ideas on what i am missing or is this something a qualified trany shop should do?
