C notch frame on 97 ranger??

hey guys lowering my ranger and would like to know the best way to notch out my frame ( if any one has pictures or suggestions) , i am putting in a flip kit that i have gotten made from dementions from a djm flipkit. and wondering how much i have to notch out of my frame if i want to lower it 5-7 inches.
