No, the ring is part of the doubler kit. If you want to clock it, the D.D. Machine doubler would allow that (AFAIK, it's the ONLY setup that allows clocking of these cases). It adds 6.5 inches to it, but you get a 6.15:1 lowrange out of the deal in the process
