Im collecting parts for my build and ran into a snag. Got a 87 Ranger thats got some bodywork and I still want to use the stock drivetrain. Picked up a set of ZF's and 53's. Well being that the front is center pinion, I need to clock the tcase so the driveshaft can clear the engine. I searched but didnt come up too promising. I read you can clock it when you do a doubler but I have no need for a doubler when the axles are 11:1. Any suggestions or different t case options??

I plan on doing away with the stock drivetrain later on. College kid working with limited budget and I want to get this project rollin.

Unfortunately the D.D. Machine doubler kit is the only option I know of that allows clocking of the RBV case (even the Atlas II is an oddball in that the RBV application is the only one not clockable).

Welcome to TRS Mike.

Good to see you got rid of that Jeep. ;)

My only idea would be to build a clocking plate for the case. But that would take some time...

Thanks Evan. Yeah I was thinkin bout machining a plate. The only other option would be a divorced 205. Most likely im prolly gonna have to go that route
