Hello all. Well, winter is coming in a couple months and I've decided i should start thinking about buying new tires. Anyways I'm looking at buying slightly meatier tires (tread wise) but since all the tires I've come across dont seem to come in the 265/75 size i decided that 31x10.5 tires will have to do. (which is only VERY slightly bigger from what i understand.) My main question is anyone know anything about Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires?

Are you looking to get some straight winter tires or just tires you can use year round? If you are looking for winter tires get some Wiontercat SST's I just picked up a set of 265's the tshop i work at sells these as basically the only truck winter tire and we have heard nothing but good from them. If your looking for a good year round tire I would suggest Wild Country XTX's they are a snow rated all terrain tire and look pretty sweet in my opinion.

and on a side note, Welcome to TRS! Good to see more ranger owners.

Well, I'm looking at year round tires, but I'd like to get decently meatier tires to make winter easier, and for occasionaly driving some light trails with a few buddies. Problem is, I'm 18, in highschool, and only working part time, so money becomes an issue. The tires i asked about are apparently Canadian Tire exclusives (not sure how that should make me feel :P) but they seem to be the more affordable option for what I'm looking for.

the general grabber AT 2s have gotten real good reviews from what i have seen. they will be the next tires i get. $109 on tirerack

Basically the same as BFG Mall-Terrains...crap!

The Territorys look like nice tires. I wish we had a Canadian Tire down here.

^^ My thoughts exactly, hmm thanks for the input everyone! Still reasearching...:headbang:

Well I don't remember how much they were but I have handled these tires and they are pretty sweet. They are the Wildcountry XTX's snow rated and the people that ran them in the winter were really pleased. Its a 50,000 mile rated tire and has the snow traction snowflake (I am pretty sure?) and looks sharp to boot.
