Buyers Remorse? (Pics)

Ok here is the story. Yesterday I found a deal on Craigslist for a set of Wheels and Tires for my Ranger. The tires were brand new (4) and so were the wheels (5). The only thing is that the tires are BFG Land Terrain tires (had been sitting in his garage for over a year or so), which are possibly a Wal-Mart, Sam's Club only tire. However the guy told me he bought both tires and wheels from Discount Tire. The tread looks in between the BFG Ruged Trail and BFG A/T TA KO. I went to look at them and when I tried them on my Ranger they looked much better than the stock wheel and a/t tire that was on there. Anyway, I am having second thoughts because I was not really looking for rims, mainly just tires. I was pretty set on purchasing 32" BFG A/T TA KO, then these came up and I ended up getting them. Was this a good deal or a bad deal.

From what I've come up with, those tires sold for around $90-100 new, and the wheels were (assuming they're just the cheapies) around $45 each. So that gives you a total of around $580-600. Not too bad I spose...especially since they're brand new, but I would have tried to talk him down.

You might find that you like having the 31's over the 32s anyway. The land terrains have less aggressive tread, but finding 32" tires is a pain in the ass. Nobody sells used ones and new are like $180 apiece.

I spent nearly $700 on my four 31 inch BFG AT's, plus one cheapie for the spare. For comparison. That counted mounting and balancing, though.

wow awesome deal, those same rims are at my local store for $110.00 (15"X10") and Im gettin some as soon as i can get some money!, oh yea theyre American Racing AR-767 Series, very nice

yeh but those rims are most likely only a 15*7 or a 15*8, they usually go for around 45 -55 for just the black rims, however you can get them in white for usually a few bucks cheaper...

otherwise as for your deal, stick with what you got, my 31*1050 BFGs cost me about $125/tire at costco on sale...

The wheels look like Pro-Comp Rock Crawlers, if so they are around $70 bucks each.

that is way too high. Maurice paid $700 for 5 new 31" BFG A/T's and Crager soft 8's.
