So today at school Kevin(the most kick-a$$ pricipal of any school ever) asked me and about fifteen other people to rake leaves out to the curb for the city to pick up. We got out there just a-rakin away, and I got an Idea.

Kev had his Ranger, an 05 or 06 single cab 3.0 2wd, parked by the curb.:stirthepot: So I decided on a little prank.

I got me and a few other guys i hang with to bury it. We didnt dump them in the bed, just because we know its rough trying to get them out if it gets wet. But we piled all around it up to the top of the bed, and all over the hood and top of the cab. We used every leaf on the school's block. The pile was about 15 feet high on the cab!

He came out and laughed. He told us to stay right where we were. He came back with a camera and took our pictures with his truck and told us that it's for the yearbook. Needless to say, he drove out without any problem. I'm just glad he's so cool.

what the heck kinda school uses child labor? was this for detention? "Kev" sounds a little too buddy-buddy, I wouldn't go on any camping trips with him...

I guess it sounds like child labor, but we are treated like adults and are given the choice to say no to things like that, but it's during school hours so it would be dumb to say no. He's no creeper either.

that sounds awesome!!

and yeah that child labor is pretty common lol. At the local aggie school, the kids do ALL the landscaping, janitoring and everything. It's actually pretty smart for a voc-tech school

alright, jus' givin' ya a hard time. Now get in there clean those toilets!

our votech, exept for the janators, all the maintinance is student done

He took the pictures for his little black book. Over the next 20 years people from that picture will have odd accidents and mysterious dissappearances.

Thats a cool idea having the students help maintain the building and grounds.

Yep, i figured you were just heckling a bit. It's an alternitive high school. it cuts out all the drama and crap and all the busy work so your just left with a better chance for a good future. But, it is a part of the main school district. Most of the main district doesnt understand that it's not an "easy out" for the punks that just dont care. So our budget is pretty thin. We dont have to do janitoring, but we take care of the place, we dont trash what we have. Actually, my grandma used to be the full-time custodian there before she retired.

i truly believe that most of the younger generations including my own do not understand WHY they should complete a task properly. most avoid work at all costs and even when they do work they are scheming on how to do as little as possible. a honest days work for a honest day of education sounds like a fair deal to me. you work for what you get as adults, i find nothing wrong with having kids over 12 or 13 do something to keep the costs of a education lower even if its just collecting the trash in the school or raking leafs. many younger generations particularly the suburban ones need to learn to work both blue collar and white collar jobs so they have a little more respect for people regardless of what they do for a living.

yeah, I went to a preppy Catholic school, we trashed the place; no pride, we had works bombs, trash fires, smokin' dope in the parking lot, and no shop class. It kinda sucked.

HAHAHAHA!!!!

That's awesome that you got a cool principal. I'd be saying a few prayers for someone like that.

I also like that you work for your school and earn respect for what it is.

What would those consequences be? You know, just in case I ever work for you.
