Burnt exhaust valves after 65,000 miles

I will see if I can get ahold of one...

I'm having the same problem for the second time, its the valve seats not the valve, they told me it was from towing to heavy and to fast, being a truck driver I know when you do that your exahust temp builds quick witch would lead me to belive that's what's causeing this problem, it may get to hot and burn the seat or warp the exahust manifold causing the problem.

Bad link.

Interesting. Its 2wd and an auto. The only thing I tow is my dirt/street bikes in the bed. I guess I'll see what it is when I pull the head off in a month or 2.

Yup 2wd auto, I towed a trailer with a rhino a coulple times then just my dirt bike

I have had valve seat failures twice within 30,000 miles. Both times, both heads were re-built.
