bumper replacement

so my bumper is getting the infamous rust holes and will eventually fall apart like all the other ranger bumpers in ohio after 20 years. So I picked up a bumper from the scrap yard a while ago when I had my 96 ranger. This bumper was just thrown in with other scrap metal so I don't know what it came off of. However, when I had my bed off my 96 ranger the bumper looked like it would bolt right on where the existing bumper holes are. So my question is would this bumper fit my 99 ranger? I haven't had a chance to crawl under there and measure the bumper bolts and compare it to the bumper. Any advice on replacing the bumper? I have a hitch as well and don't know if that will be in the way. my issue is that this is my daily driver and I don't have a back up so if I go to do something then I have to finish it rather quickly since the bumper holds the license plate.

94-2001 will work.
Probably later years as well.
I know cause I got seats, seatbelts and a bumper off a 2001 and put them on my 94.
