Ok, so It looks like I am never getting a custom bumper after years of looking for a bolt on one that did not cost way too much. I had the two bumpers that I showed on this site a few times and all I ever did was add my KC lights to the bumper several years back and they are still there. My question is this:

I did the suspension lift years ago and then a year later I added the bl. The stock bumper was raised up to mount in the factory location with the bl kit brackets. Ok, so it is not really strongly mounted and shakes and vibrates when you rap on it with your fist. Is there a way to make it more solidly mounted with out having to go to a fab shop? Anybody else have this problem? Any easy solutions? What is funny is that the read bumper is solidly mounted. It does not move at all when you push on it or rap on it with your fist. Go figure....

Sounds like the brackets on the front were made out of thin plate, you would have to take them down and have new ones made out of thicker plate unless you have the tools to do this.

Where do you live? I can make almost anything you want out of steel.

I live in Florida. East of the Tampbay area. You are way up there.....too bad. Not too many fab shops near me. I have checked all over the area. Lots os places up in Orland, Ocala and the Gainesville area. I am still searching around here.

Hmmmmmm. If that is the case maybe I can fins another set of thicker brackets and purchase them? That would be cool. I could swap them out real quick with the help of one of my buddies (WHO DOES NOT WELD). lol
