bumper mount

Are you wanting to drill straight into the bumper?
The drilling shouldn't be too hard, but check your light clearance before you start, you'll want some relatively shallow lights, like hella 500s

Another option is a light mount that attaches to the bumper mounting bolts, such as the ones here

Personally, I found a westin grill guard for sale cheap on craigslist, and got that.

As for the wiring, its a little time consuming, but not too bad if you have a good diagram

k i might go with the light tabs you suggested. Do you know how hard it would be to install those?

Well, its easiest to get the grille off first... on mine, I didn't want to risk breaking the tabs off, so I used the bolts on my tow hooks. Luckily, the local welder had some nuts from an old chevy hitch that went right on the bolt, and the mounts have worked well...

The bumper bolts are also a good place too, but I prefer these just for ease of access...

The lights on mine are KC's, I have some pictures of the beam pattern if you would like those too. The wiring diagram that came with the KC's is really simple, the only thing that is time consuming is the routing of the wires. I also "wrapped" wire loom around all my wires for some protection.

I actually used those tabs i linked to before i got my grill guard, like 02RangerXLT said, if you take the grill off, it goes pretty easily.

I've also seen a local ranger that has clamp or something, maybe like this?

that are attached directily to the tow hooks, but obviously that makes them not very usable any more

The possibilities are endless :)

Here's a picture of my truck before I got the grill guard, I had the straight 4 light bar from stuffforyourranger.com

Its not too hard, i did mine in the middle of winter. I just slid the angle piece in through the wheel-well and slid them around to the front of the truck. then i removed the two bumper bolts, and slid the tabs in place, then re-attached the bolts. Bam, Done!

Then i ran two hellas on the tabs until about 2 weeks ago when i decided i wanted more light. I just took a piece of angle iron, drilled 4 holes in it with equal measured spacing..... ^^^ Pretty similar to the rig posted before me!

....which was inexpensive and pretty darn easy to do on your own! And then i added 2 more hellas!

So you can do alot with those bumper mounted tabs!

Hey what size is the bolt that the tabs mount up to? Also if you have dimensions for the tabs that would be great im trying to see if I can just make something that would work.

k and any idea on how big of a hole I would need to make for it? Also can I just take off a bolt to see of are they need on the truck to hold the bumper on?

It tells you what size holes you need, if you didn't already, visit that link. If you did visit that link, pay more attention and read closer, they are step by step instructions.

And, I honestly can't tell what your second question was....

Hey I tried ordering those light tabs on that website but it kept giving me a error message saying that the credit card was wrong or was accepted. Any ideas why this would happen?also how long does it take to ship normally?
