Sooooo, it's been a bit hectic here at Rancho Hendo. I managed to get the new springs in the weekend before last and yep, it's a big difference. I should have known when I compared the stock springs to the first set.



I ordered the new new springs and pulled the old ones out and sent them back.
The new ones arrived and yep, they're taller.

I added in the adjustable camber sleeves and am thinking either longer shocks or at least shock extensions.

I've been making headway on other things also.
I pulled the plugs and mystery oiled the cylinders. While they were soaking, I changed the water pump, timing belt (the original) (oh, and there is a really great sticky on this, too). I also changed the fuel filter, oil and filter. I siphoned out as much (not much) gas as possible out of the tank, there wasn't much as far as sediment in the tank, so I added Seafoam to a 5 gallon can of gas and started to pour it in. Sooooo, after I cleaned the extra gas off of my driveway, I figured I had enough fuel in there for a start up. She fired up on the third try and settled into a nice purr. Now to start the planning on bed pulling when the new filler neck gets here.

I still want to flush the brakes and turn the rotors/drums. I also want to flush the clutch system out, also.
