oh, i would too, i didnt know if you were gonna buy it.

i did the same thing on the ford website. except with an F-350.

Yes, non-limited slip means open diff.

If I am not mistaken there was NEVER an option during the build process for a (limited slip) diff!! WTF,ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I would NEVER buy a truck with out limited slip especially a brand new 4x4 for almost $30,000 grand

Open diffs have always been standard, limited slips always the option on Rangers.

I am pretty sure I didn't have an option for a limited slip BUT surely I must of missed it I will go have a second look for that option.

Yes, build a Sport and check the FX4 package. The only was to get a 2010 FX4 is by starting with a Sport and adding the Fx4 option group.

Yup, just bought a 2010 on Saturday and I was very surprised/confused by what they've done with the Sport/FX4 packages.

Too many little things to bother going into detail...

Now I just have to determine if I can lift it to where my 07 was...

You can buy an F150 for that...or a base model F250 with a few options...

I would never pay $28g for a brand new ranger 4x4. Here in Manitoba dealers will sometimes blow out new rangers for $1000s cheaper than list. During Ford's employee pricing, you can get a Ranger sport 4x4 for about 19-20g. Consider that in the states, vehicles tend to cost about 2/3 what they do here, I think any dealer that sells you one for 28g is hosing you.

If its one thing that I learned. Buying a new vehicle is not always the best option. New is nice and all, but you could buy used and put the extra cash saved into fixing it up or modding it out. And once a vehicle is deemed used, prices are nearly always half of the price of new.

:bawling:the us doesnt have a fx4 option anymore, so no L/S, its stupid cause they're down sizing the model to get ready for the discontinue:bawling:
