you want the distributor module to be somewhere that the heat-sink you build is going to get as much airflow as possible. and inside the cab doesn't get a lot of airflow

yes, you only need 20psi. any pump that can do at least 20 will work. the 90psi pumps I have used on both rico's b2, my b2, and several other gm tbi rigs have worked fine.

in fact the one in my tbi b2 lasted 3 years driving it every day without issue

you don't need some specific "20psi only " pump

started pulling apart the wiring harness and removing the junk, hope i didnt need the AC signal and control since mine already works

question how much pressure is on the return line?

Its low enough that non-fuel injection fuel hose can be used. I bet that's why you are asking
