you need to play around with the line weights. your perspective is off too, not bad for paint, but it's off. i wont say anything about the ellipses. oh wait, you meant the bumpers......i'd go with something like the top drawing

i also like the second one, it kind of resembles mine. it looks like youve got the mounting brackets figured out too, so just figure out where your gussets are going to go and where youre saftey chains will hook and then start fabbin!

yeah safety chain place, and clevis mounts-- for real recovery reasons

i wouldn't use d-rings.. i'd do clevis mounts. cost a little more but are actually made for recovery. d-rings are made for tie downs, not recovery

ooohhh shiney! i like having those style mounts on my 2nd gen bumpers, it made d-ring hook up simple. now i gotta put in my recovery hitches and put the d-rings on when necessary

just so people know

screw pin shackles are for rigging and recovery.
d-rings are for tie downs for like hauling.. even the HF website says
"Mounts to the floor of your trailer or truck bed, giving you a secure lash point for cargo."

and yes i do realize it says 10,000lbs capacity.. but that's not for snatching on. and i do realize a lot of people use them for recovery- but its not actually safe. i know that many have used them and never had a problem.. do as you wish, but do realize its for tie down. not recovery.

foroffroad- you got a closer pic of the bumper of the ranger in the last pic? the newer one?

LOL I laughed my butt off, Bro!!!! Thanks. I hope this guy stays in school!!! Don't smoke weed. I tell my cats all the time...grass is evil...stay away from it...but, one day my youngest cat took out our ridding mower and mowed the neighbors wheat field.....now I have to pay for it....ouch!!!! lol
