Bug body + Bronco II frame

Ok, we got some sheet metal... finally. So work on the floor has begun. I'll keep this updated.

nice idea
i had a friend who put a ford angleia(looks like an old mini) on a jeep frame
with a 4.0 jeep motor
the truck is spotless
and weird to see going down the road
and sadly
he got it re painted and doesnt take it off road any more

Couple I've seen>>>>>>>>

A friend and I were talking earlier, then started looking on craigslist... Anyway we decided it would be a good idea to put an old bug body on a bronco II frame. So we're going to look at a 86 bronco II that won't turn onver for $225...And we have our eyes on a old non running bug with good pans for $100. We're thinking stock suspension with 33's...
What do you guys think? We think it's cool, but can you think of any problems... I'll keep you posted with what's up.

Custom built chassis w/SBC, T350, posi rearend...........SWEET lil' ride!!!

Ok its been a while I know, but its goin slower than I thought.... we've been doing other stuff.

The floor is almost done, we just need to finish up the very front footwell areas and the firewall, but it needs to be put back on the frame for that. Also it's about 1/2 - 2/3 painted. It's starting to look pretty cool.

I'm new here but was surfin' the site and this is a very interesting project. Can't wait to see it finished ! Thanks for sharing the project !

maybe the bug body fell on him while trying to get it on the frame and he is now in a mental hospital

Nah, the body is the frame sitting in my buddy's garage. He never really feels like working on it, so not much happens... sorry guys. He's kinda picked up and mostly completed a half dozen projects in the meantime... Now if he could just stay focused. He talks about working on it though.
