I suck. I was going to crank up the torsion bars on my Ranger and throw some 2" lift blocks on the rear today. I figured I'd do the front end first to see if I liked how the ride was with the torsion bars cranked up. I turned one bolt about 30 times (just about 1/4 of a turn each time) and then went to do the other bolt on the passenger side. I got it to turn about 4 times before it suddenly stripped the head on the bolt. Not completely but enough for me to stop right there. I backed the other bolt back out about 26 times so the net result is basically NOTHING. Of course if I couldn't do the front, I'm not gonna do the blocks in the rear. So I'm going to either go with a 3" body lift or trim the fenders some whenever it's time for a set of new tires. For now I'll just leave it stock. I was going at this thing half-assed anyway so it's probably for the best that it turned out like it did. :nono:

you can buy the new bolts pretty cheap..... in all reality when they are turned they are suppose to be replaced if i remember correctly

bolts are 4$ a piece at the dealer. and use a 2 tooth gear puller to take the tension off of the bolts and they will turn alot easier. i just cranked mine up all of the way worked great, much easier with new bolts. also if you cant get the old ones out buy an extractor set, takes them right out
