I suck. I was going to crank up the torsion bars on my Ranger and throw some 2" lift blocks on the rear today. I figured I'd do the front end first to see if I liked how the ride was with the torsion bars cranked up. I turned one bolt about 30 times (just about 1/4 of a turn each time) and then went to do the other bolt on the passenger side. I got it to turn about 4 times before it suddenly stripped the head on the bolt. Not completely but enough for me to stop right there. I backed the other bolt back out about 26 times so the net result is basically NOTHING. Of course if I couldn't do the front, I'm not gonna do the blocks in the rear. So I'm going to either go with a 3" body lift or trim the fenders some whenever it's time for a set of new tires. For now I'll just leave it stock. I was going at this thing half-assed anyway so it's probably for the best that it turned out like it did.
