Budget Build

I'm running 35x12.50's, I got a great deal on them, but I really wanted 38's. I don't really have more pics, the truck is just sitting on the trailer right now. I split the transfer case open while moving the truck around a parking lot. I don't think the BW1350 likes the welded 9" very much. So once I get time the 4.0 is coming out. I already have a NP435 and NP205, so I just need the V8 for it. I'm leaning towards a 460, but we'll see.

Now thats something to think about...would love to see that one.

Yeah I've split two BW 1350's open, so I think its time to use the NP205 I have. And if I'm gonna go through all that work I might as well go all out.

not even 5 months after you started this build... this truck is gone and in a scrap pile... you are dumb!!!

Haha...a little late on this one. This truck got parted out about a year ago, I got tired of it and put the money in my Dodge. I still have the 3/4 ton drivetrain (NP435 w/ NP205), but I don't have any immediate plans for them.

where you in 4wd when the cases split on dry pavement?

No. I just had it in 2HI. With the welded rear, the rear suspension would load up pretty bad when performing tight maneuvers on pavement. I think it was that bind that caused a side load to be placed on the rear output through the driveshaft. I have no proof of this, but it's the best I can figure.
